| Vintage Glam Wedding - Sam & Julia |

This is Sam and Julia's wedding from 11/3 in Waltham. If I had to sum it up, I'd call it: Gatsby-esque, tattooed, and totally glam. Sam's dress is actually depression era-- it's velvet sewn in pieces onto a slip.
The hurricane was spinning big bands of rain and howling wind through the area on that day so we had to do formals indoors but the place was packed with people, tables, and chairs-- there was a little creative problem solving that had to happen and we ended up doing the big group formal diagonally across the upper landing of the stairs. It was pretty much the only place available for it.
The ceremony was sweet, Julia's Dad officiated it, the food was wonderful, the red velvet cake was gorgeous and yummy, the flowers were perfect...and the party went on all night. The girls were totally sweet and totally in love. It made a great final fling for an excellent 2007 season.*
